Fuck yeah to the full blowout Twilight snub! Most especially in actor/actress! Yeah Emma Watson! Where the hell is Meryl Streep though? Ugh.

The MTV folks were confused by a “silent” movie–they thought nobody would understand the language!

    ^Yes they are.
These are, after all, ‘their’ awards/nominees. I really dont think they’re that far removed from the “elite” nominations.  I’m happy to see Rooney Mara up there, and three times. Ryan Gosling, Elle, Jennifer, Bryce, Michelle, Shailene, Kristen, HP, HG,  all good.

^Truly, and how “classy” is that? I wonder which puke scene would get Roger Ebert’s vote? And how exactly would the New York Times rate kisses? Are there bonus points for using tongue?

I actually like these nominations a lot. They find a way to underreward Twilight, though the second installment might sweep next year. I was expecting a nom for Brad Pitt since that seems to be a movie star performance. Love how they did not forget Shailene Woodley. Sad that they “used” Streep as an example in their press release for Transformation and they did not nominate her. LELZ.

I dont know about Roger, but my favorite puke scene is the one in Monty Python’s “Meaning of Life”. (have ONE more wafer, Vamp)
Favorite “kiss”: “The Big Easy”, Dennis Quaid, Ellen Barkin
    (yes, there is tongue)

Well said, Pook. I agree. It’s the first time in years where their nominees aren’t a total embarrassment.
