as I wrote on heading, I know that he won’t be in the running for another *Oscar, but the work done by *Mark Rylance in *Spielberg’s fantasy-epic “The BFG” I rate a very stong stuff Like the underrated Andy Serkis in several films, it’s taken for granted come *Oscar time, etc
He won’t be nominated this year, but I’m pretty certain he’ll get nominated again in the near future (my bet: in three years tops) as he starts making more films.
Rylance is a real actor. Not some pretty boy showboating for awards recognition. He’ll receive a sophomore nomination eventually. Mo-cap performances will likely never become a thing for the actors branch to embrace.
How did you come to the conclusion that he won’t ever be nominated again?
Yeah, Rylance will surely be nominated again. Could conceivably even win another.
