What clips do you like to watch over and over on youtube? The Vanessa Redgrave/Paddy Chayefsky battle is pretty riveting TV.

The classic infamous oscar moment is Marlon Brando winning for The Godfather. I don’t think anything tops that.

Sally Field’s much lampooned you like me speech is actually kind of touching. She’s a bit over emotional but she really nailed why people win awards. (They like them) Probably was a little to honest for the times. I bet the speech would barely be noticed as anything unusual nowadays.

I don’t know that infamous moments are the kinds of things I go back to, given how they tend to leave me cringing more than anything else. Mostly, I look back to crowd reactions when the winner is announced and some of the opening monologues.

For infamy, I’m guessing that there’s no topping Snow White.

I’ll forever love the Rob Lowe/Snow White duet.  They do ridiculously tacky stuff like the all the time on the Tonys, and it’s a blast.

One of my favorite infamous moments is Melissa Leo’s F-bomb.  And then the way she tried to play it off like it slipped out… riiiiight.  And the hobbling off with Kirk Douglas’ cane.  So redonk and wonderful.

The win for Music by Prudence and the former producer taking the stage and interrupting the winner’s speech.
Other than that, the closest to an infamous moment would be the Boobs song. I mean, a lot of people were outraged. I remember Lena Dunham being furious as well as nearly every female celebrity with a Twitter.

That Music by Pridence still gets to me. And it happened within the same 12 month cycle of the Kanye/Taylor Swift thing.

And rightfully. Seth MacFarlane is gross and one of the most terrible and offensive Oscar hosts ever if not the most. I would take a thousand James Francos over that ridiculous piece of shit the world calls a comedian.

I hate him. We’re forced to deal with all the sexist, misogynistic, racist bullshit that he calls “humour”. He built his success relying on offensive remarks about things and subjects he thinks he understands and the worst part is that his rabid/obsessive fans will defend by saying “oh he just satirizes the american lifestyle! it’s actually very clever and sharp!!! don’t be dumb!”… Please. If I want to watch an ACTUAL clever and interesting American satire I’ll watch The Simpsons. Seth MacFarlane is one of those people that I’m dying to see him fail in his career and gtfo of Hollywood.

I’m sorry about this rant but I really despise the guy and his Oscar hosting gig was just another proof of how viscerally stupid and idiotic he really is.

    Well I love your passion.

I only know Seth from his Oscar hosting and his film, A Million Ways to Die in the West.

They’ll never ask him back to host, and his film barely broke even. And he needed global BO even for that!

The Melissa Leo F-Bomb. That was actually quite hysterical. I even replay Seth MacFarlane’s monologue. Sure, people thought he was a little crude and even the feminists got pissed off because of that “Boobs” song, but what were they expecting from the creator of Family Guy?
