What a great top choice, and then some really interesting choices down the list. This montage really made me want to watch some of these movies, ones I haven’t even heard of. I also love the mentions of The Double and Mommy. Do they do an annual list, or is this a first time thing?

There have been a couple over the last few years.

Another excellent job by David Ehrlich.  The music used from Palo Alto to Force Majeure really stood out to me. Made me want to rewatch Ida right away.

Why were there some scenes from Snowpiercer at the beginning, but then it didn’t appear on the list. Also, I thought I saw The Raid 2 and Ernest and Celestine near the beginning, but again, they didn’t make the cut.

I don’t know. There’s several movies that missed the cut, but appeared before the countdown. Birdman, Interstellar, and The LEGO Movie are other examples. I guess he just wanted to honor them in that way.
