What did you all think of the first film? I wasn’t really a fan of it. While Mamma Mia! was a success when it came out back in 2008, is anyone really going to care for a sequel now? I’m personally not really a fan of sequels coming in late.
Though I will recommend you check out Musical Hell’s review of Mamma Mia!…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmLFL5qHWqkMay 19, 2017 at 5:12 pm #1202097398
A sequel of a bad movie? Lololololol, Meryl wants them coins. I’ll be screaming if this and Mary Poppins turn out to be box office hits.May 19, 2017 at 6:56 pm #1202097423
Mamma Mia had some huge flaws but I cannot deny how fun it was. I mean I will always cherish seeing Mrs. Weasley singing and dancing.May 19, 2017 at 8:14 pm #1202097439
Though it certainly wasn’t fun to hear Pierce Brosnan trying to sing. I remember CBS Sunday Morning did a segment on him back in 2014, and at one point, he talked about how he’d be driving his kids to school while practicing the song, ‘S.O.S.’, and even they didn’t like what they heard.May 19, 2017 at 8:53 pm #1202097455
Hmm would they just cover the other ABBA songs that weren’t in the original or just redo the same songs?
EDIT: Didn’t read the article first lol. hopefully they do more new songs than old onesMay 19, 2017 at 9:33 pm #1202097462
Muriel’s Wedding is still the best film to feature a bunch of ABBA songs but that’s OK.
And reading the article, how did I not know James Cameron was doing a Battle Angel Alita adaptation? What the Fuck? This is gr9May 20, 2017 at 2:21 am #1202097543
Mamma Mia is my biggest guilty pleasure movie. Could not be more excited for this!May 20, 2017 at 7:01 am #1202097637
I still have never seen Mamma Mia.May 20, 2017 at 8:22 am #1202097660
Well, at least Phyllida isn’t directing it anymore.May 20, 2017 at 9:19 am #1202097674
Meryl isn’t even a big part in this. She’d be doing The Post in a couple of days until August. Then, she would do The Nix by JJ Abrams. So, I think her part in this sequel is small.May 20, 2017 at 9:49 am #1202097701
Diarrhea. Does it show again?
But yeah Mamma Mia is one of those movies that I don’t want to admit that I kinda enjoyed (and even cried). But yeah I love ABBA’s music and I will probably see this… maybe?… but not in the theatres.
