Chastain, Farrell, and Morton all look great, as does the film itself. Looking forward to it.

Ok now this is, from the looks of things, my type of film. I love the look and feel, the ambience, and I’m a huge supporter of Liv Ullman. I feel that Colin Farrell is a tad under-rated, and I am also a big fan of Samantha’s.  As for Chastain, a big hole in the earth could open and she could fall in and get mud all over herself, and I likely wouldnt read about it. Lol. But, I’ve never seen her acting badly in a movie.

Of all the trailers I’ve seen this year this one and it’s prospects are right up there with say, Inherent Vice. I’ve been anticipating the film for some time now. Sigh.

Judging from what we know so far and the trailer do you guys think this could possibly have a role at the Oscars?

I enjoyed the play when I saw it on Broadway.  Morton has (I think) the best role in the movie, and we all know the Academy likes her (as well as Chastain), so I could see this getting some love.

I think, this one, if campaigned properly, will be a better ride for Chastain’s next oscar nom. I mean Liv Ullman and Miss Julie herself is baity enough.

Chastain has so may movies coming out it’s hard to know what she will be nominated for but i think she has a good chance of getting in for something.

Chastain is a goddess.  She reminds me of a young Jessica Lange.

And any trailer that features the music of Schubert is a winner in my book.

Now let’s get this woman an Oscar.

I’ll be so pleased if she gets 2 Oscar nominations this year for Miss Julie and a Most Violent Year. She also has Eleanor Rigby. And maybe Samantha Morton can score a nomination? idk.

    –  Looks boring as f**k
    – The only character that seems rather interesting was that of Samantha Morton’s.

Farrel looked good in the beginning of the trailer. I am not sure about this film. I see this film could be deeper than it appears to be. I just don’t really see this going far in awards season. It all depends on the fate of the other Chastain films. If those are better than this than don’t expect Morton or Farrel to earn special notices come awards time. The studios won’t find the need to push it. Unless of course they end up giving incredibly fantastic performances that define the year in film, which I doubt.
