Make a space in this thread to compile all the 2014 films you watch with grades, comments, analysis, etc.

This thread is strictly for 2014 releases. Do not discuss films from other years.

    ADDED:

    Filth – B-

Over the top and confident in it’s direction lead by MacAvoy’s career best makes for an enjoyable thought generating film that explores the complexity of the human mind.

    Dom Hemingway – C

The lead performance by Jude Law makes the film watchable as no real point is really made and with many overblown scenes the film starts to struggle but it is the rutlesness of Law that makes the character work.

    The Railway Man – C

While the story of the film is strong the film never really approaches how dark the tale is. Firth is good and Irvine does his best Colin Firth impression but overall the film was sometimes boring and repetative.
