    MPSE Golden Reel Awards Nominees Announced Published: January 17, 2013 @ 6:20 pm By Tim Molloy

    The Motion Picture Sound Editors announced its nomineees for the 60th MPSE Golden Reel Awards, recognizing sound editors’ work in film, television, animation and computer entertainment media.

    “2012 was a spectacular year for sound,” said MPSE president Bobbi Banks. “We offer our sincere congratulations to this year’s Golden Reel nominees who, once again, have astounded us with their creativity and artistic excellence. We are very pleased to have this opportunity to recognize their dedication and tireless work in advancing the craft of entertainment sound.”

    The awards will be held Feb. 17 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles.

    Those are some major snubs for Zero Dark Thirty.  How weird, I wonder if it wasn’t eligible?
