    Very nice Saulo!

I love how you mixed block busters with Academy-friendly works.

Snowpiercer is a tad too violent for me, but the citation for Swinton is nice. Also your mentions of so many actors who fell under the glare: Gyllenhaal, Jolie, Chadwick, Essie Davis, Isaac, Coon, and others.

Love love your BP winner btw! And also, many of the nominees.

Nice video. You have a few typos in certain sections.

Also, The Hunger Games song isn’t an original song.

I saw some of the typos after I exported, but I kind of did it in a rush (it is really annoying when your mac doesnt quite support final cut). As for the Hunger Games song, I know that the lyrics were in the book, but the melody and the song itself were written for the movie, so even knowing it is not 100% original, I decided to include since it was one of the most powerful moments of any movie last year (the rest of the movie is long and boring).

Really? I just thought the ENTIRE MOVIE Was bloated and boring and that Hanging Tree song Katniss sang was annoying as all hell. Lorde’s song was pretty awesome, however. They should never have split Mockingjay into 2 parts. Deathly Hallows in Harry Potter was twice as long a novel zo it worked great for twice as many movies!

I have never been a big Oscar Isaac fan and only ever liked his acting in Drive and esp. Ex Machina. A Most Violent Year scarred me with how dumb and obnoxiously pretentious it was. HATED THAT AWFUL MUSIC SCORE!!!!!

I havent read the book, but for sure, making it a two part was a bad decision because I really enjoyed catching fire and somethings that happen in the last two movies are interesting and could have made a nice two hour movie.

Really?? I couldnt disagree more! Watching A Most Violent Year made me actually wish that they would remake a godfather movie with him casted as Michael! And thats saying something because I really love Al Pacino’s acting. I think if they were to remake Godfather, Isaac would be the perfect choice. AMVY was that awesome for me.

[/quote]I completely agree with everything in this post! 🙂

For me this is how you watch the Hunger Games movies:

Skip the handheld/shaky-cam mess (and wooden performances IMO) of the 1st one, you start by watching ALL of the second one and let the world/story explain itself. I believe Catching Fire has potential to become a future science-fiction classic IN SPITE of the boring, lazily-written, nothingness that comes right afterwords, you skip Mockingjay Part 1 ENTIRELY, just like the 1st one, and then MAYBE (although preferably not “barf”) you watch the last 30 to 20 minutes or so of Mockingjay Part 2 if you’re really all that invested, to see how it all wraps up.

Fair enough! I also enjoyed Lone Ranger! Such an underrated movie. I would go farther and say that all of Disney last live-action blockbuster movies are very underrated (John Carter, Lone Ranger and Tomorrowland)
