I am an extra in this one.  Look for me toward the end, standing behind Ken Watanabe!

Oh, nice! Did you get to meet Walter White?

Unfortunately, no.  I only worked with Watanabe and Sally Hawkins.  I talked to other extras who worked with “Heisenberg”.

The only Gojira films I can stand watching are the ones where he “waves” good bye (for now apparently) to the people in Tokyo. That last one from that gee-nee-us Roland Emmerich invests us in Gojira’s kids and then expects us to cheer when they’re wiped out.
Gareth Edwards did great work on Monsters but this film wont be high on my list of must-sees. Yes, I sympathize with Gojira the same way I do for King Kong. Lol.

I’m glad they are bringing the military weapon subtext to the films. The original film is actually really good, and this looks promising.

    This looks really great.

Except for Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Bro can’t act to save his life.

Still awesome buddy! Anyway, this first trailer is promising. I’m looking forward to it.

This was directed by Gareth Edwards, which is a huge leap of faith for Sony. He made the aliens cult film Monsters three years ago, released in the US by Magnolia.

They’ve got a rough road next summer; they’re shoehorned between Spiderman 2 and X-Men: DOFP next May…

Ugh, oof, and yikes. I try to ignore that version.  What was Emmerich thinking 1) casting Matthew freaking Broderick as the lead, and 2) just detonating 40 odd years of what Godzilla should look like with THAT.
