The trailer for the long-anticipated Bill Hader/Kristen Wiig dramedy is finally here:
I think it looks totally amazing, and Bill Hader looks like he could be a breakout star. I thought this film would be about Wiig (in the vein of Bridesmaids or Friends With Kids), but it looks like it is Bill Hader all the way.
If this is what he’s doing now that he left SNL, I’m happy he left (which is something I thought I’d never say)
I’m in. Looks good to me, and I heard that both Hader and Wiig nail it.
Sounds good. Plus, I will watch anything with Bill Hader in it.
Love this trailer! I want to see this film today.
It opened today in select cites and many of Wiig and Hader’s SNL friends and comedians are just raving about it on twitter. I think this could be a silent hit at the Golden Globes like 50/50 was. I think Wiig is the most likely nomination with Hader having a posibility and even the movie itself. It is coming to my town on the 26th and I am super excited
Saw it in NYC this weekend. Phenomenal movie! Definitely had some comedic moments anchored by Hader and Wiig, but ultimately this is a very dark movie about grief, depression, and mental illness. I hope it gets some award attention at the Globes!
I just got back from seeing it and oh my god this movie is outstanding. Hader and Wiig really deserve awards recognition. They balanced comedy and drama like I have never seen before. And the dance scene that is in the trailer brought me to tears how hilarious it was. I really want the screenplay to make it into the oscar race at least. Would love if somehow Hader and Wiig got in at the Oscars
