For Hugh Jackman, they should definitely use either Valjean’s Soliloquy, Bring Home Home or Valjean’s Death. If Russell Crowe manages to get nominated, then Stars would be a no-brainer.

I know that this is a duplicate thread, but for Leonardo, he should submit the scene in which he threatens to smash Bromhilda’s skull with a hammer. Also, for Adams, I don’t think that they would play a handjob scene. For DDL, there are WAY too many scenes that can be played for him. For Washington, I would also choose the “I chose to drink” scene.

    The Master

Joaquin Phoenix – The scene where he criticizes Val for not listening to his father’s teachings
Philip Seymour Hoffman – The scene where he tells Freddy that if they meet in the next life, they will be sworn enemies
Amy Adams – the scene where she tells Freddy to change her eyes blue

    Well, obviously Spoiler Alert.

I know this is duplicate, but I can’t find the original post.

I was joking about the amy Adams HJ scene lol. Just imagine that clip being shown.

I think Jennifer Lawrence’s scene with the cop would be good. Where she says, to some effect:

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER  I’m dead Tommy’s whore wife minus the whore, kindaSPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

I’ll wait until nominations, but I’d think Field’s could be when she tells Jones off.

We can all agree that Daniel Day Lewis was very low key in Lincoln, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they show the NOW! NOW! NOW! scene.

Leonardo DiCaprio- cutting his hand at the table, “Smash your skull with this hammer”
Christoph Waltz- “Dumas is black”, telling Django the German fable about Broomhilda,
Samuel L. Jackson- “Why is you scared?” They’re playing you for fools”

DiCaprio – I agree with your pick.
Waltz – agree with the “Dumas is black” scene, another good clip would be “stop playing Beethoven” or the scene where he takes Django aside because of the way he is talking to the slaves on his horse.
Jackson – I agree with the “why is you scared” scene. another good one (perhaps with too many spoilers) would be SPOILER the last scene of the movie, but that might be too violentSPOILER

I like the scene where he’s sitting with his buddies and he tells a joke.

I sure hope they have clips this year. I dont recall seeing any for a while but I do remember being disappointed that they didnt show any.
