Nominations were a clusterfuck, but we might as well start predicting who’ll take it in the end.

    My early guesses:

    Best Film Drama – “Moonlight”

Best Film Drama Actor – Casey Affleck, “Manchester By The Sea”

Best Film Drama Actress – Natalie Portman, “Jackie” (could be Huppert)

Best Film Comedy/Musical – ”La La Land”

Best Film Comedy/Musical Actor – Ryan Gosling, “La La Land” (though I’m REALLY tempted to pick Grant)

Best Film Comedy/Musical Actress – Emma Stone, “La La Land”

Best Film Supporting Actor – Mahershala Ali, “Moonlight”

Best Film Supporting Actress – Viola Davis, “Fences”

Best Director – Damien Chazelle, “La La Land”

Best Screenplay – “Moonlight” (maybe Lonergan)

Best Score – “La La Land”

Best Song – “How Far I’ll Go”, “Moana” (I don’t think LLL wins Score AND Song. Maybe Timberlake has a shot here. It’s the Globes, after all)

    Best Animated Feature – “Zootopia”

Best Foreign Language Film – “Elle” (my head says “Salesman”, but they might see this as a chance to award Huppert)

I agree with pretty much everything but I have a feeling Ryan Reynolds might upset Gosling in comedy actor. That would be the most golden globes thing ever lol

(I don’t think CoS is the best song in this category by a long shot. But I think “La La Land” takes one of the music award, and since I’m taking a risk on “Arrival’s” score, I’m saying Song is where the musical scores.)

I don’t see Grant winning. Alright, they quite like him, but he’s won before already, while Gosling is now on his 5th nomination with no victory yet, starring the Best Pic winner. I see a spoiler in Reynolds, but, yet, a very long shot.

I’m starting to think Dev Patel could pull this off.

I’m trying to think of what might upset at some of the categories since the Globes like to throw a wrench sometimes. Remember when Grand Budapest Hotel beat Birdman? I think it’s undeniable La La Land wins though.

I think Reynolds or Grant could beat Gosling. Also kinda wondering whether Mahershala Ali is really going to win supporting.
