can someone please tell me which of the following films had more practical effects than visual effects?
The Perfect Storm
The Fellowship of the Rings
The Two Towers
The Return of the King
Master & Commander
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The Chronicles of Narnia
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man’s Chest
The Golden Compass
Pirates of the Carribean: At the World’s End
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Dark Knight
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2
Life of Pi
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Guardians of the Galaxy
Mad Max: Fury Road
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
was it only The Dark Knight & Mad Max?
From behind-the-scenes clips I’ve seen, INTERSTELLAR had a lot more practical effects than you’d think. I don’t know if it would count as a “majority” but Nolan was very old school in some of his approaches, even if some things would’ve required computer assists.
