Havent seen American Sniper and Wild, as for the rest:

    PICTURE

    7. TTOE
    6. The Imitation Game
    5. Whiplash
    4. Birdman
    3. Boyhood
    2. TGBH
    1. Selma

I really like the top 5, altought all except Selma have some flaws that keep me from calling them great. TIG and TTOE shoudnt be anywhere near this category (like War Horse, the Help, Loud & Close, Pi, Dallas Buyers Club, Blind Side in the most recent years), but we know how the Academy works.

    DIRECTOR

    5. Tyldum
    4. Miller
    3. Linklater
    2. Wes
    1. Innaritu

Tyldum is the most unispired choice, and I wasnt the biggest fan of Foxcatcher, but my problem wasnt with the directing which was fine.

    LEADING ACTOR

    4. Carrell

    3. Cumberbatch
    2. Redmayne
    1. Keaton

Cumberbatch and Redmayne are great actors working with weak scripts and badly written characters, but they do their best. Carrel’s performance seemed very actory for me.. just some scenes I really felt the character and not the actor. It was really messed up that Oyelowo and Gynlenhall were snubbed, for me, they deserved the oscar more then anyone nominated. I could also say that aboud Hardy or Isaacs, but those were never going to happen.

    LEADING ACTRESS

    4. Jones
    3. Cotilliard
    2. Pike
    1. Moore

I belong in the minority that thinks that Moore really deserves the oscar. For me the performance was spot on. The fact that Jones is in here is anoying as hell, anyone competent could have done what she did, even more. I know that it would be impossible, but I would love if Blunt was nominated in here for Edge of Tomorrow, she seemed so natural and had me so convinced.

    SUPPORTING ACTOR

    5. Duvall
    4. Ruffalo
    3. Hawke
    2. Simmons
    1. Norton

I love the top 3 performances. Duvall was nominated because of his name.

    SUPPORTING ACTRESS

    4. Knightley
    3. Stone
    2. Arquette
    1. Streep

Now that is a horrible category. I dont think any of these woman deserves to be here, maybe Streep cause she was the highlight of Into the Woods, sang really well, was funny and had some great numbers. Arquette had one great scene, but was OK the rest of the movie (I understand that it is a performance that doesnt call much attention, but I tought it was bland in some scenes). I like Stone, but her character was one note, as was Knightley’s (who had much better performances this year in Begin Again and Leggies). In a perfect word, Tilda Swinton (Snowpiercer), Carrie Coon (Gone Girl), Sarah Gordon (Enemy), Rose Byrne (Neighbouts, really) and Julianne Moore (Maps to the Stars) would have been nominated.
