I’m too lazy to rank, but I’ll list my favourites:

    Picture: 12 Years a Slave
    Director: Alfonso Cuarón – Gravity
Actor: Jean Dujardin – The Artist (an unpopular winner, but for me a fresh and inspired one)
Actress: Cate Blanchett – Blue Jasmine
Supporting Actor: Mark Rylance – Bridge of Spies
Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette – Boyhood
Original Screenplay: Her – Spike Jonze
Adapted Screenplay: The Social Network – Aaron Sorkin
Editing: The Social Network – Kirk Baxter, Angus Wall
    Cinematography: Gravity – Emmanuel Lubezki
Production Design: The Grand Budapest Hotel – Adam Stockhausen, Anna Pinnock
Costume Design: Mad Max: Fury Road – Jenny Beavan
Makeup & Hairstyling: Mad Max: Fury Road
Visual Effects: My head says Gravity, my heart says Ex Machina
    Sound Editing: Zero Dark Thirty
    Sound Mixing: Inception
Original Score: The Hateful Eight – Ennio Morricone
Original Song: “Skyfall” – Skyfall – Adele, Paul Epworth
    Animated Feature: Inside Out
Foreign Language Film: A Separation, Amour, Ida, Son of Saul. Any of them. I’d have to rewatch all of them in a row to decide. This category’s been on a roll ever since the Academy as good as beckoned people to vote for the “right” movie without having seen it. Get these voters to actually watch stuff, however, and they inevitably make bland choices.
