Lame list. Cara Delevigne was robbed. Rooting for Assassin’s Creed everywhere.

The Razzies gave Fahrenheit 9/11 a lot of nominations in 2004 as a way to give a double middle finger to George W. Bush. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hillary’s America gets a lot of nominations not only as a middle finger to Dinesh D’Souza (since this is the THIRD time he’s tried to sway America with his unfounded, b.s. propaganda), but also Donald Trump, since I suspect most Razzie voters probably voted for Hillary Clinton in the election. Plus the film has one of the worst Rotten Tomatoes scores I’ve ever seen for a documentary (although critics say this film shouldn’t count as a documentary, even ones from right-wing newspapers).

I’m surprised Max Steel, Nine Lives and Norm of the North are nowhere to be found.

Seems we could have another interesting situation where Octavia Spencer could be an Oscar and Razzie nominee. Also, expect Boo! A Madea Halloween and Fifty Shades of Black to do well, lest we have #Razziessowhite accusations 😉

In no way do Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad deserve any Razzie nominations whatsoever. The extended cuts redeemed them as much as the characters did. Ben Affleck did a nice job as a grizzled Batman ala The Dark Knight Returns. Jeremy Irons did another interesting take on Alfred. Henry Cavill further developed his Superman character. Heck, even Jesse Eisenberg—although somewhat annoying—portrayed how Lex Luthor’s son was in his early years. Margot Robbie did Harley Quinn justice, as Will Smith also did with Deadshot. Jared Leto did an okay Joker.

Nine Lives, Ben-Hur, Jack Reacher, and Snow White and the Huntsmen, and God’s Not Dead 2 deserve Razzie noms instead.

Here are the Worst Screen Combo contenders according to Rotten Tomatoes:

Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Any two Egyptian gods or morals in Gods of Egypt
Gerard Butler and his on-again/off-again accent in Gods of Egypt and London Has Fallen
Robert De Niro and either Zac Efron or Aubrey Plaza in Dirty Grandpa
Johnny Deep and his vomitously vibrant costume in Alice Through the Looking Glass
The entire cast of Collateral Beauty
The entire cast of Mother’s Day
Megan Fox and either Stephen Amell or any ninja turtle in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows
Tyler Perry and that same old worn out wig in Boo! A Madea Halloween
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in Zoolander 2

Great pairings, but they’re missing Zac Efron, Adam Devine, Aubrey Plaza & Anna Kendrick for Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates.

Nah, not to me. I do like them. They were an ok screen combo, quite fitting for that type of comedy.

On other hand, the snub of Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. I know they were as forgetable as it gets, but come on, not even shortlisted? Egregious. Kinda.
