I’d guess that the upcoming Smurfs movie might be a contender for ripoff/remake/sequel or whatever that category is called.

The Comedian was actually released (limited) in 2016, so DeNiro wouldn’t be eligible for it THIS year…

I would think Fifty Shades Darker is locked for nominations in worst onscreen couple, worst film, worst actor, worst actress, and worst sequel.  Iono I just generally look at the razzies to know what films to avoid to watch lol.

The Razzies are just politicized bullshit at this point- honestly, do you really NEED them to know the likes of Zoolander 2, BvS, ID4#2, et. al. SUCKED (though not quite as much as Nina, Nine Lives, and Collateral Beauty did)???

No, like do I really NEED the Oscars  to know which film is good. I can just look at the list to know if it’s that terrible that I should avoid. Your argument could be said for the same with the Oscars. So why are you here if you’re going to call everything politicized bs.

The same thing can be said about Gold, since it got a limited 2016 release as well.

I have to disagree there. Animation is the perfect medium for The Smurfs and this looks actually pretty cute and fun, unlike those two crap live-action movies that deserved every Razzie under the sun. At least the TV spots and trailers for The Lost Village look actually tolerable and all the have to do is get better reviews that those other two abominations and the Razzies will not touch them.

Although Going In Style and The Case For Christ don’t have scores yet, who knows, they could end up scoring worse.
