Don’t even think about considering Tom Hanks a contender this year. He is the best actor currently living and always pulls 110% in every role he plays. There is no way that they will think The Circle is as bad as other more memorable atrocities this year.

You don’t realize how the Razzies work. They don’t actually nominate the worst movies. They nominate high-profile stars in films that didn’t do well. Tom Hanks would be a high-profile and shocking nominee that would get the Razzies press. They will probably nominate him. It’s just like Sandra Bullock in “All About Steve”. Not a good film, but Sandra was just fine in that flick. Like she said in her speech, I don’t think anyone actually watched the movie.

Still it seems like The Circle is too low-key of a release nor is it really memorably awful to carry over as a nomination, especially after the notably horrible Fifty Shades Darker and Unforgettable.

FYC: Ready Player One. Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Visual Effects, Original Score, Production Design, Director and BEST PICTURE (make it happen Oscars!!)

The Circle was infinitely more noteworthy a trainwreck than those 2 movies, so don’t cry when it gets a ton of deserved Razzie noms and maybe even a couple wins, just like the atrocious Batman v. Superman received, in spite of your bizarre protests.

Personally, as a Razzie voter myself, I ALWAYS try to nominate the worst movies and performances. I will be sure to rent The Circle from my local Redbox if it makes the Razzie nominating shortlist. Earlier this year, I suffered through Zoolander No. 2, London Has Fallen, Hillary’s America, so I could have an informed opinion on the shit I was voting on. 😐

And hate to break it to you, but Sandra Bullock was obnoxious and completely Razzie-worthy for All About Steve. 😉

You know, as much as I may have hated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2., every time I think about it as a Razzie contender, I keep remembering “But what about Monster Trucks? Or CHiPS? Or Fifty Shades Darker? Or A Dog’s Purpose? Or probably Justice League?!”

Earlier this year, I was so freaking close to voting for Midnight Special as a write-in candidate for Worst Screenplay. But was it really worse than Batman v. Superman, Gods of Egypt, or Hillary’s America? No.

Honesty is an important factor of being a Razzie voter.
