Probably my favorite living American actress. Should have already got at least two Oscars (one of them for Aliens without a question). And her performance in Galaxy Quest deserved Comedy/Musical GG win (sorry Janet!).

    I nominate her for:

    Alien
    Aliens
Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey
    Working Girl
    Alien 3
    The Ice Storm
    Death and the Maiden
    A Map of the World
    Snow Cake
    The TV Set

Looking at Sasha’s list I would add Dave (1993).

Hey we all secretly love that movie! But we all hate it because we saw the potential in Jennifer Love Hewitt!

I say Working Girl should’ve been her one Oscar, though I hardly would’ve minded an Aliens victory. (I just happen to ever-so-slightly prefer Kathleen Turner that year.)
