    The Rosie Project (Sony
Pictures ) stars Jennifer Lawrence as Rosie Jarman.

The movie, based on the Graeme
Simsion novel, centers on a socially
    awkward genetics professor who
    devises a science-based survey to
find the perfect mate — only to see
    those theories splintered when he
    meets the spontaneous Rosie
    Jarman (played by Lawrence), who
    possesses the opposite qualities.

A Linklater/Lawrence calibration seems cool! So happy she gets to works with all these great directors

I have a tiny little feeling he’ll drop out, no reason behind it. Lawrence/Linklater is a dream come true.

Interesting, but Linklater has been link(later)ed to several projects over the past year and nothing came of that. He usually prefers to go his own way, doing his original stuff.

If Linklater does sign on, I hope he won’t cast Ethan Hawke in the male lead (a 40ish professor with Asperger’s). I loved Boyhood and the Before series, but in spite of Hawke, not because of him.

I don’t know… I kind of love it and kind of hate it at the same time… This really sounds like an interesting paring, but the subject matter doesn’t really do it for me… Hopefully I’ll be wrong and this will turn out to be very good, because I love Jennifer Lawrence and Linklater needs an oscar asap!!!!!
