My previous topic post had some replies where people say the bad state the animation race is this year (and in recent years as well). While I disagree with them, I had thought what are some of the worst animated films you’ve seen.

Worst I’ve ever seen: I normally try to avoid those, but Shark Tale takes the cake for me.

I’d have to think a bit harder than I can at the moment for films deserving of the “honor,” but “Home on the Range” has got to be in the team picture for me.

More recently, and more in terms of deep disappointment in what might have been than what ultimately got on the screen, “The Lorax.”

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Brother Bear are pretty bad.

    Easy.

WALL-E. It was awfully bad. Such an overrated piece of shit.

    ‘Hoodwinked Too’.

Okay, okay, I’ll admit, I didn’t watch it. But the trailer was terrible enough for me.

Ones I’ve actually seen that i was NOT a fan of:

‘Tales From Earthsea’ (very disappointing, super boring)
‘Shark Tale’ (might as well be called ‘Paycheck! The Animated Movie’)
‘Cars 2’ (one of the most unnecessary films I’ve ever seen, and definitely Pixar’s worst)
‘Dinosaur’ (Terrible. A glorified tech demo, and not even a good one)
    ‘Mars Needs Moms’ (UGH.)

I’ve never really seen an animated film that got bad reviews. So…I’ve pretty much liked most of them.

BUT…The King and I was embarrassing.
    Cars 2 was unnessecary.
…and Alpha and Omega…why did I even see that?

I’ve heard Titanic: The Animated Musical is not only one of the worst animated films of all time but one of the worst movies as well. I need to watch.

But nowhere near as bad as the fourth one.  That is the worst that I have seen.

Shrek 3 was terrible, and thefact that it also stars Justin Timberlake just sealed the deal. Shrek 4 was better but everyone’s stopped caring by that point.

I don’t like Cars, Cars 2, Monsters University, or Brave. All of these are not the worst animated films (OK Cars and Cars2 are), but they’re the worst Pixar has produced.

I also don’t like Aristocats -_-  (the name itself is just atrocious),  Open Season, Home on the Range, Hunchback of Notre Dame (it took me about 5 viewings to actually get through the movie, incredibly dull), or Sleeping Beauty (save for Malificent, I was actually rooting for her)

Malificient is the best animated villain ever, she is far superior than the princess. Perhaps my favourite animated character.

Yup. Definitely one of my favorites too. It’s interesting how this independent, powerful female character with her own army is portrayed as an evil witch-dragon, while the weak, easily bed-ridden, and frankly, dumb but beautiful Aurora is the protagonist who gets saved by Prince Charming.

Yes. The Nostalgia Critic did a hilarious review on it. It looked pretty terrible.
