We’re now officially into the second half of 2016, so I thought why not reflect on the best and worst movies of the first half. Here are my top 10 worst films of 2016 so far:

Dishonorable mentions: Free State Of Jones, The Boy, Demolition, I Saw The Light

Top 10 Worst Films Of 2016 So Far:
    1. Dirty Grandpa
    2. The Brothers Grimsby
    3. The Boss
    4. Gods Of Egypt
    5. Ride Along 2
    6. God’s Not Dead 2
    7. The Darkness
    8. How To Be Single
    9. London Has Fallen
    10. The Choice

What about all of you? What are your worst films of the year so far?

So far I’ve only seen 3 bad movies:
1)Fifty Shades of Black (I liked Jane Seymour in this but the rest was very predictable).
2)How to Be Single (Yeah……this was just so bad. Like Rebel was decent in it but that’s about it).
3)Zoolander 2 (I can’t even express sufficiently on how disappointed I was with this movie. First one I can quote and love. This one is just such a letdown. Barely funny. Had one or two moments that were good. And Penelope Cruz….WHY? You are better than that. God bless Wigg and Will F. for bringing the only laughs).
    4) Purge: Election Year (This movie………..like it started so good and then went a little weird after the crazy girls with the Christmas lights on the cars then got semi good again last 20 minutes or so. It had everything going for it and just was so meh)

Independence Day 2 is terrible. And they didn’t even have the decency to make it short. It’s long as hell.

Hail Caesar! made no sense, several scenes and or characters have no meaning or purpose in the movie (mainly Johansson’s character). The much hyped scene with Ralph Fiennes and the cowboy wasn’t even funny.

Dirty Grandpa was a repeat from about 10 recent films and I don’t remember laughing at anything.

    London Has Fallen.

The Boss was actually kind of funny, but McCarthy keeps Sandlering herself (like Kevin Hart in Central Intelligence, basically Ride Along 1 and 2) and it was again the same character, same mean/bitch attitude, same jokes, same “I’m too fat for this ______” insert joke, run or fall. Of course the fanboys will say this was a departure, a revelation or whatever the hell they say to convince themselves that she’s not repeating the same character.
