Tina Fey/Amy Poehler (Sisters), Rachel McAdams (Aloha), the Vacation cast (with ONE exception), and Kate Winslet* (Insurgent) don’t belong on any ‘worst acting of the year’ list- Rob Corddry (HTTM2), Katherine Heigl (Home Sweet Hell/Jenny’s Wedding), Chevy Chase (HTTM2/Vacation), Angelina Jolie (By the Sea for acting, writing & directing), Brian Cox (Pixels), Jack Black (The D Train), John Travolta (The Forger), Robert Redford (A Walk in the Woods and esp. Truth, where he ‘played’ Dan Rather as…Robert Redford?!!?!?), Adam Sandler/Method Man/Ellen Barkin (The Cobbler, also for worst director and CERTAINLY screenplay), Stonewall (esp worst picture & director for the horrilbe hack Roland Emmerich), most of the Entourage cast plus Hayley Joel Osment and Piers Morgan (Jeremy Piven & Kevin Dillon excepted), and Seth McFarlane* (Ted 2- directing, writing, and *voice* acting) DO…you’re welcome ;$>                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             *among many others

Also, I found Me Earl and the Dying Girl to be incredibly overrated and cloying (in an annoying quirky indie/MPDG kinda way), but that’s just me (and most others I know who saw it)…

I fully respect your opinions. It’s clear that you care deeply enough for these choices. It’s likely that the ones you say don’t deserve to get in will not get nominated. Thanks for your opinions!

FWIW, Kate Hudson is a Supporting Actress in Rock the Kasbah (and her usual lame self IMHO), and Kevin Hart is a Lead Actor in Get Hard (ditto); also, Pan (aside from Hugh Jackman) seems woefully under-represented here, given that it’s one of the 3 or 4 biggest duds of the year Being Sick

While Pan was bad, I thought it was mostly harmless and not as offensively bad as some of the other films here.

Aronld does not deserve to be their for Best Actor as he was clearly the best thing in that movie. Also I will throw in bad performance in every wise good movies (I look at you Gleenson for TFW)

Completely agree. Arnold will not be nominated since he was removed from the list in my first round of voting and he was pretty decent in the movie. Also I have considered for many years including a “Worst Performance in a Good Movie” award but wasn’t sure who would make the longlists in every year. I think that the Razzies themselves should have that award so I could have a template for mine.

Oh and one last thing, after first round voting I did research and found out that Chappie and Mortdecai should go into Adapted Screenplay as opposed to Original. So I will make the changes now.

Wow, that’s certainly a plie of bad stuff you cited there, but: Adam Sandler HAS to be in for Worst Actor for being horrible in three (3) ‘different’ roles (since you’re including Ridiculous 6); even though I couldn’t find room for him on my own list, Cameron Crowe certainly deserves to be raked over the coals for his increasingly shitty writing & directing (GQ even named him #2 on their Worst Persons of 2015 list!); I don’t think Kevin Hart is a Supporting Actor in Get Hard (though he certainly stinks in that, along w/the loathsome Wedding Ringer); Chevy Chase should be forced to retire at least 10 years ago already; Kate Winslet isn’t nearly as bad as Jada Pinkett Smith or Rooney ‘miscast beyond reason as a Native American’ Mara (to say nothing of Whitney Cummings in Ridiculous 6)- Theo James needs to be recognized as the horrid block of wood that he is, though; Minions and Pan (both rated PG) can easily be added to the Worst Family/Animated Film list…

Sandler was close for his role in Ridiculous 6, but I never got a chance to see Cobbler and I actually thought Pixels, while still being bad, wasn’t as bad as some of his other works. I’d definitely watch Pixels over again over Jack and Jill and That’s My Boy any day. Cameron Crowe was also close. I simply don’t think that Kevin Hart is funny, and I let Chase off easy because I still really like him. I wasn’t even recognizing Theo this year, but yeah maybe I will if Allegiant or Ascendant are as bad as Insurgent was. For the most part, I thought Pan was harmless and I thought Rooney was okay. I really like Rooney as an actress and it didn’t really bother me that she was miscast as a Native American. Maybe I could put it in for Animated/Kiddie Film, as I have softened my thoughts on Home since the first time I saw it.
