By Oscar perfs do you mean only winners? I can make up a top twenty but they’d almost all be nominees.

^^^ Great mentions.  Here’s some more:

    Gwyneth Paltrow, Shakespeare in Love
    Natalie Portman, Black Swan
Claudette Colbert, It Happened One Night — she does have the famous leg scene

    Supporting (if those count)
    Rachel Weisz, The Constant Gardener
    Catherine Zeta-Jones, Chicago
    Juliette Binoche, The English Patient
    Jessica Lange, Tootsie

Sure you could also play some jokes for this that could frighten people or get laughs (Annie Wilkes anyone, or Hannibal Lecter?  Some might fighter Lecter incredibly sexy, really.  Jack Nicholson singing “Only Look at the Bright Side” in As Good as It Gets?).

I don’t know what you mean by ‘sexy’ so here are some ballpark guesses:

Jennifer Lawrence in ‘Silver Linings Playbook’
    Julianne Moore in ‘Boogie Nights’
Meryl Streep in ‘Bridges of Madison County’
Emily Watson in ‘Breaking the Waves’
    Uma Thurman in ‘Pulp FIction’
    Catherine Zeta Jones in ‘Chicago’
    Natalie Portman in ‘Black Swan’
    Cathy Moriarty in ‘Raging Bull’
Michelle Williams in ‘My Week with Marilyn’
    Helen Hunt in ‘The Sessions’
    Amy Adams in ‘The Fighter’
Vera Farmiga in ‘Up in the Air’
    Kim Basinger in ‘LA Confidential’

Edit: Just saw your post Tom. I’ll bold the winners.

Chronologically, here are a personal top 12

Clark Gable took off his shirt in It Happened One Night. The lack of a T-shirt sent sales of the undergarment plummeting.

Claudette Colbert in It Happened One Night. The lift of a hitchhiker’s skirt skidded a car and a nation to a stop to look at the exposed thigh.

Elizabeth Taylor’s performance is horrid in Butterfield 8, even she refused to watch it. However, in her form fitting outfit she uses her lipstick to scrawl on the bedroom mirror in a classic moment of pure sexuality.

George Chakiris and Rita Moreno dance with a fevered passion in West Side Story. There is no question that their sex life us on fire

There is a moment in Funny Girl when Omar Sharif and Barbra Streisand eat in a seaside dive. She turns and wickedly remarks that seafood is not the only thing he has introduced her. The sexual chemistry between the two is surprisingly heated.

Jon Voight has a bedroom scene in Coming Home that removed the question of the quality of the sex life of disabled men forever. He is hot.

Sally Field’s Norma Rae swims with a labor organizer to cool off the summer heat. It might have worked for them, but only heated us up.

Cher won hearts and loins when dressed for the opera in Moonstruck.

In A Fish Called Wanda, Kevin Kline revealed his hirsute torso and his physical prowess by inflating and deflating a women ‘s knee high leather boot like is was a simple child’s balloon.

When Gwyneth Paltrow undresses in Shakespeare in Love, she arouses more than interest.

The knife wielding jealousy of Penelope Cruz in Vicky Cristina Barcelona is so seductive as to make her audience unwisely wish to embrace the unstable beauty.

YES!  That scene was marvelous….the garment twirling away form her as she spins.  The end of the movie, the camera focusing on Viola in the water, her floating body, glorious ending.
