Has anyone seen her directorial debut “Ithaca?” It’s barely getting a release for some reason?

Many may be aware it’s loosely or closely based on the 1943 MGM Americana “The Human comedy” (4 stars!) W/Mickey rooney

& technically it’s the 4th time she & *Tom Hanks have worked together

    PLEASE COMMENT

Here small independent films are shown simultaneously for fee on TV and in small movie houses. Not in your city?

I saw Meg Ryan discussing the film on a talk show. Hanks has a very small role that required only a single day shoot.

Ryan’s discussion of her first directorial effort was sufficient to convince me not to see it. I’m just not a fan of the subject matter.

I remember seeing it in the limited release section on Rotten Tomatoes a few weeks ago in their weekly round of movie scores for the week.
