Foxcatcher. Just the trailer alone gives me the chills. Whiplash also everytime the drum fan fare happens I am on the edge of my seat and it’s only a trailer.

Foxcatcher, Birdman, Whiplash and Gone Girl. Foxcatcher gives me the chills and that fucked up vibe that I just LOVE. Birdman’s trailers are super inventive and spark curiosity whenever they play to whomever they play. Whiplash is probably the best: tense, thrilling, astonishing! Gone Girl’s trailer is super well edited and I love how it twists the whole plot and leads you to another direction.

My favorite trailer is basically a tie between Whiplash and Birdman.

For me, it’s Inherent Vice or Unbroken. The Inherent Vice trailer got me totally excited for the film, but it didn’t scream oscar. Unbroken got me somewhat excited for the film, and completely screamed Oscar. Birdman, Whiplash and Interstellar got me a bit excited, but mostly because the films were already on my radar in a big way.

Foxcatcher’s trailer was ok, but it didn’t really make me want to see the film. That’s just me, I know that other people really liked it, but it did nothing for me. I’m still really excited for the film, but it’s despite, not because of the trailer.

Definitely between Birdman and Foxcatcher. Both of them sold the tone of their films incredibly well and are surprisingly original, since most trailers no longer are…The others are pretty good, but nothing put of the ordinary. Voted Birdman cause it just screamed COOL.

    Then I saw Foxcatcher.

The new Foxcatcher trailer was much better. It actually showed some more of what the movie is about. Not quite the best for me, but a very solid trailer.
