Is it me, or by this time we always knew who is hosting?

Do we have any idea who it will be?

They are probably going to get someone a little more commercial to help boost the ratings. Wouldn’t be surprised if Ellen is asked back.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey should really host the Oscars this year. They should skip the Golden Globes and host the Oscars.
If not, give Whoopi Goldberg another shot, because you know she’ll be knockout good.

Not going to happen, but I would love to see Louis C.K. as host, even if he doesn’t attract many viewers.

Ellen was the worst host since…Ellen last time. I have never seen as boring host as her. Franco and Hathaway were bad, but she was worst.

If they want to boost ratings they need to hire Ricky Gervais. But it’s not happening.

Uh, no, Ellen was 50x better than Anne Hathaway and James Franco!!

Please God, not that Gervais fella with his dry humour and forced comedic timing. Please!
His Golden Globe duties was horrible. HORRIBLE.

And Ricky Gervais is not gonna make Americans camp out in front of their TV’s. Come on

AMPAS must name the producers of the show who will then name the host.

Interesting article in The Hollywood Reporter addressed this last month.

Agreed. Although Neil Patrick Harris was pretty terrible too. Ellen freaking sucked from beginning to end, even she didn’t look like she wanted to be there. 🙁

Wouldn’t ever happen but I would love to see a really left field choice like Kirstin Wiig and Bill Hader.

What about Melissa McCarthy? Key & Peele? or Aziz Ansari?

I’m expecting another nonwhite host this year, so some possibilities: Kevin Hart, Oprah, Whoopi, Eddie Murphy (the choice that intrigues me the most, though that means getting godawful Brett Ratner as producer), Queen Latifah, or a somewhat unconventional choice, Dwayne Johnson.

That sounds like just enough exposure for the sexual harassment allegations to go mainstream.
