Interesting to see the wins for Squibb and McQueen (even though the Satellite awards usually have little bearing on the Oscars).

The Great Gatsby loses another costume award; I am becoming more confident that it loses the Oscar.

Gravity beats Captain Phillips for sound.  The sound categories almost always match up, but they were not even close last year: the sound mixing winner and one of the sound editing winners were nominated in the other category.  So I am conflicted this year.

    Yay for “Young and Beautiful”.

You mean the BAFTA ones?  Ha ha.

Philomena in adapted screenplay is one that I am really wondering about.
