    PICTURE – The English Patient
DIRECTOR – Kevin Costner, Dances With Wolves
ACTOR – Roberto Benigni, Life is Beautiful
ACTRESS – Helen Hunt, As Good as It Gets
SUPPORTING ACTOR – Jack Palance, City Slickers
SUPPORTING ACTRESS – Mira Sorvino, A Mighty Aphrodite
ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY – Ghost (I don’t really have any big complaints with this category. Ghost probably stand out as my least favorite, but aside from the un-nominated Miller’s Crossing, I don’t think anything was *robbed* by this choice, per se.)
ADAPTED SCREENPLAY – The Cider House Rules
