So happy that Brad and Carrie are back! But this has to be the last year. Its becoming predictable so maybe next year they’ll pick someone else to host. With that being said im still excited to see what Brad and Carrie come up with this year.

^^^ If the powers that be care anything about ratings, we will not be stuck with them and that’s coming from a fan of Brad. I love him, but I have other favorites.

God bless you and him and my other favorites always!!!

    Holly

P.S. To me, the only thing from this duo that was any good was their word spreading of the Faith and Mcgraw perfumes which ever year they went to the stores.

If it wasn’t for Taylor’s “Controversial” crossover to pop, I would say she could sweep up this year with Entertainer, Female, Album, and Song or Single. But this just hasn’t been Taylor’s year for winning at country awards, look at the ACMs, she was a huge favorite but was shut out because her music was “too” pop. I would love to see Taylor take Entertainer, but I think Luke Bryan is a very realistic contender this year. Carrie Underwood should get Female Vocalist, I’d be ashamed to see Miranda win again. Luke or Blake will take Male.

    Interesting thing to note:

If either Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert win Female Vocalist this year, they will tie Reba and Martina McBride for the most wins in this category. If Taylor Swift wins, this will be only her second time winning.

Sheryl Crow and Florida Georgia Line will be announcing the nominees during the 8:30 a.m. hour of Good Morning America on Tuesday, September 10th.

I don’t think that her crossover is what made her get shut out. I believe that those who beat her just happened to shine brighter in the country field than she did in the opinion of those who made the decision on who won. Sadly people can’t win every year.

God bless you and Taylor always!!!

Well she did win the fan voted portion of the ACMs Entertainer of the Year this year. Their website even said it, they just intervened in the voting and gave it to Luke Bryan. I think Taylor could easily win EOTY this year, her tour sales, and album sales are undeniable, putting aside her three pop singles, Taylor still beats everyone else in sales and entertaining and that’s what the award is based on. But I could easily see Luke Bryan winning, he’s been on a hot streek lately.

If Taylor wins anything in the song fields, it’ll be for “Highway Don’t Care” which I have taking video and song of the year. She could easily win EOTY. Female Vocalist should go to Carrie Underwood, she deserves it, Blown Away was phenominal.

The video for “The Highway Don’t Care” should definitely be in there for the Video of the Year award if it is eligible.

    God bless you always!!!

    RyanEarle….do you have the ballots?

And I can’t imagine that “Highway Don’t Care” wasn’t submitted for Video and Song of the Year. It’s one of the biggest hits on country radio right now. Besides, this is a Tim McGraw song, so his team/label probably submitted it.
