I have to say I really dislike the recent trend of nominating artists who are coming back with a new album. Releasing one single is not enough to be one of the best and it’s obvious they’re getting nominated for marketing reasons and not for their achievements during the past year.

For example, they did it last year in Best Female with Pink and Taylor Swift and they’ve done it again with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. What did they do to deserve recognition instead of Pink and Rihanna?

And Eminem is one of the best male artists of the eligibility period? Didn’t he just release his single a couple of weeks ago?

I also hate that video category with “Blurred Lines”, “Wrecking Ball” and “Applause”.

Rihanna or Pink deserved to be in Best Female.

Was Madonna eligible for Best Live Act ?

These nominations look fair. No other complaints.

Proud of Maria Mena for being the only female nominated in the Best Norwegian Act category but I am shocked that Loreen isn’t in Best Swedish Act.

Even if EMAs are generally watched  more than VMAs, VMAs are much more important than EMAs, due to th e lack of celebrity line-up in the EMAs.. However, EMAs are still important award show to represent the the preferences of European people for the music. Anyway, my predictions:

    Best Song: Bruno Mars
    Best Pop: 1 Direction
Best Female Taylor Swift (Miley Cyrus)
    Best Male: Justin Bieber
    Best Live: Taylor Swift
    Best New: macklemore
    Best Video: Lady Gaga
    Best Rock: Green Day
Best Alternative: 30 Seconds To Mars
    Best Hiphop: Macklemore
    Best Electronic: Daft Punk
    Bigggest Fans: 1 Direction
    Best Look: Harry Styles
    Best Push: Austin Mahone

Last year, Taylor Swift won Best Female,Best Live and Best Look awards. This year she isn’t nominated for the best look (maybe because Harry Styles is nominated lol), but the other 3 awards are still there for her. I think Best Live is very close to her , however Best Female will be very competitive, any of the nominees can win. She’ll lose Best Pop to 1 Direction, though.

    Best Song: Macklemore
    Best Pop: One Direction
    Best Female: Lady Gaga
    Best Male: Justin Timberlake
    Best Live: Justin Timberlake
    Best New: Macklemore
    Best Video: Justin Timberlake
    Best Rock: Green Day
    Best Alternative: Fall Out Boy
    Best Hip-Hop: Eminem
    Best Electronic: Daft Punk
    Biggest Fans: One Direction
    Best Look: Harry Styles
    Best Push: Austin Mahone
    World Stage Performance: Macklemore
    Best US Act: Justin Timberlake

It’s gonna be the One Direction and Justin Timberlake show at the MTV Europe Music Awards. As long as people keep voting for the right artist who deserves it, then it’s going to be a good award show. Bieber will probably lose, but I’ll be surprise if he wins after all the trouble he has cause during the past year. He doesn’t deserves it. What has he done anyways besides having a crappy tour and pissing on presidents. Taylor Swift doesn’t stand a chance, becuase she has not promoted her nominations. Until she does it is a close race. Bruno Mars will lose easily. Macklemore will have a great night. I just can’t wait for Bieber to come home with nothing this year, because that’s exactly what he did: NOTHING! He sucks. If he wins then people are stupid for voting for him.

Bieber won’t win anything. I know it. If he does win, then people are stupid. I hate the Beliebers who vote for him. He doesn’t deserve it.

I have to reconsider my opinions about Taylor. She didn’t make any promotipons for EMA. She may only win Best Live under these conditions, and even it’s probably gonna be very tough, unfortunately. It seems last year’s big victory was enough for her.
