One Direction is winning Best Group isn’t it? It’s such a Brit Awards thing to give the lightweight pop sensation the win over the respected acts.

So are these awards like the Grammys or the AMAs?

Can’t believe One Direction’s nominations. The only important part of them for Brit jury should be their nationality. Brits Awards is probably the only jury award to reward One Direction. Unbelievable.

They are nominated for Best British Single for third consecutive year with a cover song. International Group’s nominations are so much better than British Group’s.

Best International Male can go to JT and Female should go to Pink. They can choose Lorde or Katy Perry. I think Lady Gaga has the lowest chance here.

Best British Album will probably go to David Bowie’s “The Next Day.”

Was Pink really that huge in the UK this year that she would beat Lorde and Katy? My god, they really are terrible…

I think One Direction will win. Their album had a few surprising good reviews, which will likely make a lot of voters forgive themselves for going with them. They are so popular right now, they’ll probably win. Just like Take That a few years ago.

I have to admit British Album of The Year, with exception of Bastille, is a great line-up though. Any of the four would make deserving winners, but I’m hoping for Bowie or Disclosure.

If Overgrown replaced Bad Blood the Best Album line up would have been perfect.

I expect JT to win Best International Male Artist seeing as it’s his comeback year and he had the best selling album of the year.

International Female could go either to Katy Perry or Lorde. Maybe with Gaga as the spoiler.

M&RL has international group on lock.

Thank you for posting the winners.

I was really rooting for Ellie Goulding and Bruno Mars based on the year they’ve had, so it was nice to see them win.
