With all of the changes to the charts, I’m not sure what the eligibility period is anymore.

Will Adele make it in time to have the best-selling album of the 2015 based on Billboard’s eligibility? Some industry insiders are wondering if she could do ~2.5 million first week alone, which should be enough to take #1 if she meets the deadline. The Soundscan year is on lock for her, at the very least.

I’ve looked it up the deadline is the last week of November which is when “25” is released so it’s either one week of sales or no sales at all. If she gets the week in its probably a lock for #2 behind “1989” who has sold around 3 million since.

    ALBUM

    1)”1989″ Taylor Swift

2)”25″ Adele (If she gets the week in)

3)”If You’re Reading This Your Too Late” Drake

4)”That’s Christmas To Me” Pentatox (Sp?)

    5)”Title” Megan Trainor

    SINGLES

    1)”Uptown Funk” Mark Ronson

2)”See You Again” Wiz Kalifa (Sp?)

    3)”Blank Space” Taylor Swift

4)”I Can’t Feel My Face” The Weeknd

    5)”Thinking Out Loud” Ed Sheeran

Hopefully, Bieber is not in the top 10 in the Top Artist chart. Taylor Swift will be on top followed by Drake, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Maroon 5, Meghan Trainor, Adele, and Fetty Wap (in no particular order).

25 already sold 2.5M copies so it will probably be #1 at the year end
