The nominating ballot should be released this month for the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Voters will use this medium-sized list to select the inductees later in the year.

Who do you think will make the list of 15 artists on the nominating ballot?

Green Day is the only first-year eligible artist that would seem to be a slam dunk. Nine Inch Nails and Lenny Kravitz are also eligible for the first time.

Here is a list of the best artists still waiting to be inducted…

Green Day will get in on their first try. It’s a shame to see so many greats left out (particularly the big names like Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson).

I would love for Green Day to get this. They have done such amazing work these past 20 years. Also they should have Duran Duran, Meatloaf, Pat Benatar, The Runaways/Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and so many others inducted. The list is so long

Oh the full list appear once I posted. Wow Whitney hasn’t gotten in? Wow. Also Bon Jovi, Journey, Eurythmics, Carly Simon, and how the hell hasn’t Carole King gotten in yet. I think Carole is going to be recieving tons of stuff this year with the Broadway show

    Chicago
    Duran Duran
    Eurythmics
    Green Day

    Lionel Richie
    Nine Inch Nails
    Pat Benatar
    Whitney Houston

Very surprised about Carole King not being in there…..she would earn my number one spot.

If I was choosing, besides King, I would also induct:

The B-52s, Chicago, Doobie Brothers and Dionne Warwick

Cher should have been inducted about 20 years ago. It’s obvious that she is being purposefully snubbed.

Last years inductees were OUTSTANDING. I wouldnt mind seeing Greenday inducted but they have to wait in my opinion. Bon Jovi is next in my opinion. The inductees should be…

    • Chicago (Rock Legends who has had countless # of hits)
    • Whitney Houston (The Most influential Vocalist of the last 30 years)
    • NWA (Changed Hip Hop. Plus Ice Cube, Dr Dre, and Easy E became icons with their own name)
    • Diana Ross (Influenced Michael, Madonna, Donna Summer, Janet, Beyonce etc…)
    • Chubby Checker (Legendary Soul/Rock star who created the first dance craze for the world)
    • Pat Benatar (The Most awarded female Rock Vocalist who has had many hits starting in the 70s)
