If 24k Magic goes Pop, then so should Starboy.

Get real! “Redbone” will NOT be submitted to Best Traditional R&B Performance and Awaken, My Love! will NOT be submitted to Best R&B Album. They will be submitted to Best R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album respectively.

I agree, but I have a feeling The Weeknd will go where he can win. Bruno has consistently submitted to pop vocal, but it would be a good lineup if The Weeknd submits here too

Wow actually the R&B field looks really promising and competitive, even if we take away Bruno Mars and The Weeknd.

I think Bruno Mars is the only person able to upset Ed Sheeran in Best Pop Vocal Album. That category is weak af.

I can’t see Miley getting in to Pop Vocal Album unless it gets rave reviews. It doesn’t have the hits that Bangerz did.

I don’t see anything out of the traditional mold on the album. Redbone is pretty old-school, so is the album. But who knows, maybe the Academy will move it. But it’ll be dumb for him to submit in Urban Contemporary since:
    1- he’s album sounds traditional
2- he’ll lose to SZA or Khalid

I’m sorry but there’s nothing traditional in “Redbone” nor the album. Xtina’s right.

“Redbone” does sound “traditional,” though. The album screams “contemporary”.

Smh. Redbone is traditional af but I have a feeling it will be submitted anywhere but in traditional. I mean it is literally a re-do of a good ol traditional R&B song.

Five Foot Two did well in showing the production and the heart of Joanne. This little september buzz will help her to really secure the nominations.

If that terrible “Bodak Yellow” song receives a Grammy nomination, I’m going to throw up.
