Obviously I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I’d love to have some last tracks from Amy and her family approving this album gives hope that there’s something to it, but then again those songs are apparently only demos, covers and rejected songs. So it’s obvious that they were simply thrown together to make another buck of her.
Over the last years I’ve read over and over again that Amy would be back in studio recording. What is with those tracks? couln’t they have done something with those recording instead of diggin out recordings from Frank sessions?October 31, 2011 at 8:13 am #375982
I have horrible feelings about this. That is so not the way she wanted those songs out. Those tracks are rejects for a reason!

I have the impression that there is no other material apart from these recordings.October 31, 2011 at 8:38 am #375983
Well it was only a matter of time…..October 31, 2011 at 1:23 pm #375984
Well I’m looking forward to this.
At the very least, I bet her covers of “Boy from Ipanema,” “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” and “A Song for You” are interesting.October 31, 2011 at 6:40 pm #375986
I’m looking forward to this. That collaboration with Nas sounds promising.October 31, 2011 at 7:09 pm #375987
I love her Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow. I think that was used in the second Bridget Jones film. I guess that even though I have mixed feeligns about this, I’d still be interested with this.October 31, 2011 at 7:13 pm #375988
This excites me and makes me nurvous at the same time. Projects like this run the risk of missing the mark, and then we’re left with a tainted, posthumous piece of novelty. Kind of like “Michael” was for MJ.
The tracklist sounds intriguing enough, I just hope it delivers.November 2, 2011 at 9:43 pm #375989
“Like Smoke” featuring Nas leaked!
It’s obviously unfinished but it sounds amazing.
This would’ve been a great record.

I’m really looking forward to this. I’m glad it is being touted as a collection of B-sides and rare tracks and not as a legitimate album of new material. It will temper expectations.
