I think both Beyonce and Rihanna will do one within the next few years. It seems pretty likely.

“Best Of” albums are like too mainstream for my taste hehe… even though I own some of those like Green Day’s International Superhits! (cheez… that sounded like a Vengaboys album) anyways, I prefer artists could do what Tori Amos did with “Tales of a Librarian” where she made a concept album with her older songs…

Of this list, I actually think the Black Eyed Peas would be the most deserving of a GH album. They have a lot of “party” songs that impacted in the 2000s. I think the album would appeal to a broader audience.

Well and AC/DC, surprised they don’t have one–but I was mostly focusing on recent artist since there’s been discussion about Kelly’s being deserving.

Coldplay and Weezer need one like ASAP.  I got so excited the first time I saw this at a Best Buy, but then it just wasn’t good enough looking at the track list.

I have to say, I find GHs to be the best way for me to get into an artist’s body of work and then motivating me to get some (or all) of their albums depending on which of their big hits I find to like best.

Oh, and from that list, Jewel needs one STAT. I can’t believe this hasn’t happened yet. She’s clearly not racking up any more hits, and two of her biggest hits (“You Were Meant for Me” and “Foolish Games”) were completely rerecorded and aren’t available commercially – maybe on iTunes? IDK.
