    Hi all,

BBC polled critics about the best films of the 21st century, so I thought I’d open up a topic about the best albums. What are your top 10 albums since 2000?

I’m not capable of creating a list right now, but every Radiohead album released since 2000 except TKOL simply HAS to be on it.

The sole album I would recognize is the Jack White and Loretta Lynn collaboration, Van Lear Rose. The music here is thrilling. I still listen regularly.

I obviously love your comment, although I find it interesting that we have some slightly different opinions on Radiohead. Did you find The king of limbs worse than Haif to the thief? To me it’s the opposite!

Kid A is the most important, the most creative, the richest album of this century, and imo one of the greatests of all time.
I wouldn’t be able to write a list, at least not before having thought about it for a long time, but some works I consider masterpieces are: Vulnicura by Bjork, Geogaddi by Boards of Canada, Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven and Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend! by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Amnesiac by Radiohead, and Discovery by Daft Punk.

Yes! Definitely. And I don’t even dislike TKOL – it would’ve made more sense to me if it had come out before In Rainbows.

I mistakenly thought it was a best albums of the decade so far thread. My bad. Will come up with a best of the 21st century… eventually. It’s much more overwhelming to me than compiling a list of best movies or shows since 2000.

    2. Mumford & Sons – Babel
    3. Ben Howard – I Forget Where We Were
    4. London Grammar – If You Wait
    5. Coldplay – A Rush Of Blood To The Head
    6. Adele – 25

    8. Coldplay – Viva La Vida (Or Death & All His Friends)
    9. Amy Winehouse – Back To Black
    10. Florence + The Machine – Lungs

You don’t have to be a British act to make my list, but it helps.
