Who will win Best Dance Recording?December 10, 2015 at 7:00 am #415133
I want a (surprise) upset here..Flying Lotus feat Kendrick Lamar “Never Catch Me”.December 10, 2015 at 9:05 am #415134
The award here will go to the most popular: “Where Are U Now”December 10, 2015 at 9:45 am #415135
I see Justin winning his first Grammy, so Where Are U Now.December 10, 2015 at 10:24 am #415136
Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston and Galantis don’t have enough star power to win. Flying Lotus feat. Kendrick Lamar would be an interesting choice. Skrillex and Diplo with Justin Bieber seems like the obvious winner. I’m going to go on a limb and predict The Chemical Brothers feat Q-Tip.
SHOULD WIN: The Chemical Brothers feat. Q-Tip, “Go”
WILL WIN: The Chemical Brothers feat. Q-Tip, “Go”December 10, 2015 at 10:32 am #415137
Where are Ü now…December 11, 2015 at 12:34 pm #415138
As I don’t wanna believe that Bieber will be a Grammy winner, I hope Chemical Brothers can prevail over the power of Diplo/Skrillex.December 11, 2015 at 8:22 pm #415140
Q-Tip is so overdue for a Grammy.
But he already won in 2005 in this category with The Chemical Brothers for “Galvanize”.
Still, out of the five nominees, “Go” is my favourite.
Precisely. Q-Tip is already a Grammy winner. Ironically, in this category for a track with The Chemical Brothers.December 17, 2015 at 10:50 pm #415141
Justin Bieber is winning his first Grammy. What a comeback this era ended up being for him, despite himself. Congrats. I generally liked this category. My favorite by a country mile is “Never Catch Me,” but I’ll celebrate its nomination as the ultimate reward. It’s such an unilkely song to make this roster. That’s enough for me. “Runaway (You & I)” is nothing special and veryyy autotuned. The female’s vocal on “We’re All We Need” is both haunting and beautifully done. I wouldn’t mind a possible upset there. I guess The Chemical Brothers are always ones to look out for, and they’ve won here already with Q-Tip. “Go” feels like retread of greater past work though, but you never know. They have corresponding Dance/Electronic Album nods just like Skrillex & Diplo. I think the hit of the group rises to the top in this field, and “Where R U Now?” will be a worthy enough winner.
WILL WIN: Skrillex & Diplo featuring Justin Bieber, “Where R U Now?”
SHOULD WIN: Flying Lotus featuring Kendrick Lamar, “Never Catch Me”December 18, 2015 at 6:45 am #415142
This category could have Years and Years, Major Lazer, Lindsey Stirling and they all could win but instead we have JB which makes me barfDecember 18, 2015 at 12:18 pm #415143
Years and Years’ King should 100% nominated. Tis a shame.
Also if Lean On wasn’t submitted to Pop Duo/Group, it would definitely have a chance here.December 18, 2015 at 12:34 pm #415144
JonCan, Mikeboy I can’t be more agree with you guys.
Of course Lean On could have been a front- runner in this category .
but the fools of Mad Decent decided to send it to the slaughter in the pop field.
Just so it doesn’t clog with Where Are U Now.
Maybe they thought that with Lean On being a major hit it would have a better chance to appear in the pop category.
This snub still hurts.December 18, 2015 at 12:46 pm #415145
I honestly don’t understand what makes a song be more or less likely to be nominated in pop or dance.
Gaga has been nominated in this categorie x3
Poker Face (won)
Dance in the Dark
and those songs sound like pop to me
why she doesn’t submit songs in this category anymore? like applause?
Lean On was too pop to be considered EDM? and too much EDM to be pop?
how this category works now?
