What do you think was the best musical era for an artist?

I believe this is Taylor’s best era. She’s so millions of copies of 1989, already has three top 10 singles, and the critics seemed to really like it.

I think Lady Gaga’s best era was at the end of The Fame Era going into The Fame Monster. She was on top of the world at that point with Paparazzi, Poker Face, Love Game, Bad Romance, etc. It was overall a wonderful time for her.

Mariah slayed most of the 90’s, but I think her best era was the “Daydream” era. So many accomplishments/feats from that era, from “Fantasy” debuting at #1, to “One Sweet Day” becoming the longest running #1 song in history, to the album itself selling 10 million copies. It was the era, I believe, that solidified her as a true pop icon.

And then there is “The Emancipation of Mimi” era as well……

Christina Aguilera’s best era was 1999-2001.  She scored five top 5 hits in a row.  4 of them hit #1.  Her debut album stayed on the Billboard 200 chart the entire year of 2000.

1989 is the best era for Taylor Swift. 1 million copies sold in it’s first week, two #1s and good reviews from critics.

Teenage Dream was the best era for Katy Perry. five #1s, sharing a record with Michael Jackson and it was her first #1 album.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller is the standard.

Janet had three massive eras starting with Control and ending with janet.

Whitney had the biggest era for a female artist with The Bodyguard.
