Fashion has sometimes played an integral part in the stages of producing larger than life personas in music. Which of these celebrated artists has merged style and entertainment together the best? Discuss.

IMO Madonna is the ultimate fashion icon. She has so many iconic looks.

J-Lo. That grammy award dress that stole the show and forever is one iconic look for her says it all.

I think there’s a line between merging style & music and dressing for shock value.

That dress will go down in history. I remember that particular GRAMMY night like it was yesterday. I believe she gave TLC their R&B Album award.

Mary J. Blige should be added to this list. She was Indeed the most fashionable chick in R&B for all of the 90s and early 2000s

TLC and Aaliyah were definitely the fashion icons for Urban music in the 90’s. Those baggy clothes, accessories, and tom boyish attires influenced so many especially artists like Rihanna.

They were APART of it but Mary was one of the starters with the “boyish” style with combat boots and also she STARTED the ghetto/ fab style with the streetwear/high fashion combo. People be forgetting about Mary
