Who will win Best Music Video?December 10, 2015 at 6:24 am #415352
Kendrick will win. (Alright or Bad Blood)December 10, 2015 at 6:26 am #415353
“Alright” should win here. Such a visual masterpiece.
But this has been going to videos that have accompanying big hits, so it will go to “Bad Blood”. This would be the perfect opportunity to reward both Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar.December 10, 2015 at 7:33 am #415354
Its going to be “Bad Blood” because it awards both Taylor and Kendrick.December 10, 2015 at 7:40 am #415355
A$AP Rocky and The Dead Weather are not even in the running. Last year’s winner, Pharrell Williams, will take the backseat. Kendrick Lamar will win. But, for which video? “Alright” is definitely the better video, but “Bad Blood” allows two heavyweights a win. This category has become a popularity contest in recent years with artists like the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Adele, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z and Pharrell WIlliams winning. Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar will follow suit.
SHOULD WIN: Kendrick Lamar, “Alright”
WILL WIN: Taylor Swift feat. Kendrick Lamar, “Bad Blood”December 10, 2015 at 10:41 am #415356
But not with Bad Blood!December 10, 2015 at 2:23 pm #415357
I hope Kendrick wins for “Alright”, but since “Bad Blood” was a bigger hit, it will win like in recent years.December 11, 2015 at 12:03 am #415358
It’s a win-win for Kendrick. But utimately BB was the 2nd biggest VOTY (hello Adele).December 11, 2015 at 6:44 am #415359
I can’t believe we’re all still under the illusion that Bad Blood was an acceptable music video — it was so shittily made and nothing about it made any goddamn sense. It’s actually kind of sad that in an era of so many groundbreaking music video makers (FKA Twigs, Kanye, hell even Gaga) a subpar video like this gets lauded simply because of the marketing campaign.December 11, 2015 at 7:10 am #415360
I’m going with the Dead Weather. They like to reward videos from obscure artist’s.December 11, 2015 at 7:16 am #415361
I’m going with the Dead Weather. They like to reward videos from obscure artist’s.
They do? Besides Weezer and OK GO, whom both had crossover success, 90% of the time it goes to a video with a big hit attached to it.
