If Kelly does win here (I think she has a chance) it will be because of the strong vocal performance not because of Idol.

That moment happened ON IDOL! she even said she got emotional partly bc it was the end of idol.

I think this is Adele to win…

But I wouldn’t be shocked if Beyonce wins..

Halo won over hometown glory in 2010
Hold up may do the same over Hello.

Even if the category was called best female pop vocal performance back then

Halo won because was a bigger hit than Hometown Glory just like Hello will win because was bigger than Hold Up.

    These Kelly/Beyoncé stans…

“Hold Up” is an insignificant song that was only nominated here because of slim pickings. “Halo” winning in Pop Female over “Hometown Glory” would be similar to “Hello” winning Pop Solo over “Hold Up,” not the other way around.

Beyoncé is not winning every category she is up for, nor does she deserve to. “Hello” would be an excellent winner here, too.

Get real! Beyoncé’s “Hold Up” is NOT winning this category over Adele’s “Hello.” You posters have got to stop doing drugs.

IB Times is predicting this to go to Grande.
I think at the end of the day the Grammys Will upset everyone, give Pop Solo and/or Pop Vocal to Grande, AOTY to Sturgill or Adele and give Bieber another Grammy, One in the general field. At the end of the day, it is about Buzz, and no headline will generate more Buzz than “Bieber & Grande win over Adele” or “Who is Sturgill Simpson?”

The fact that the poll here only gives Adele a 60% prediction… the fuck?

The only remote spoiler would be Kelly, but even that won’t happen. The IB Times is smoking some crazy shit if they predicting Ariana.

It will be absolutely funny on Grammy day to see your reaction when Ariana Grande wins absolutely nothing and Adele wins most of her nominations.

Honey, Stevie Wonder can see that Ariana Grande is not winning this category.

First Kelly Clarkson, now Ariana Grande. I have read it all.

Adele should and will 100% win this. As much as I love Hold Up, it’s not even that much of a vocal performance to begin with.

Well, Ariana’s song is the best in this category, but we all know that Adele is unstoppable here :/

You posters are cray cray! Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” is NOT better than Adele’s “Hello.”

Hell, Dwieber’s bland “Love Yourself, Beyoncé’s mediocre “Hold Up” and Kelly’s crappy “Piece By Piece” are better than Grande’s awful song.

Hold Up is by far the most interesting vocal performance of the bunch followed by Grande (extremely well controlled and mature) and Clarkson (really powerful and incredibly emotive). They’re followed by Adele and then Bieber.

I actually find it funny to see someone call Hold Up “mediocre” when it’s far and away the most acclaimed song (with Hello and to a lesser extent DW putting up a strong case) of the nominees.

I still think Adele could take this, but Grande seems to have some sort of weird momentum, a lot of publications are handling her as a serious contender in her categories this year, especially compared to 2015.

I think the top three that could win this are Adele, Bey, and Grande. Those songs and artists are still fresh in the voters mind (tour, awards, year-end lists, another current single, etc). Bieber peaked at a really unfortunate time and Kelly feels stale at this point since the success was so compacted.

    So…
    1. Adele
    2. Bey/Ariana

    3. Bieber/Kelly

These are exactly my thoughts. I’m not saying I’m 100% sure, but at the end of the day, the live version of Happy won over Stay with Me, Chandelier & Shake it Off (those 3 songs were on the general field). I think understimating Grande & Clarkson & Beyonce (and even Bieber) just because they sold less than Adele is a huuuuge mistake.

I’m counting on Grande to win this. I know I’m probably wrong, but i don’t care.
