    2000:

This is a very hard year to choose from but:

TLC for “No Scrubs”, because I think the ROTY nom would give it an edge (but Whitney would be a huge threat)

    2001:

Another hard year to choose from, and I’d love to believe D’Angelo would win because he would be most deserving, but I have to honest and say…

Destiny’s Child for “Say My Name”, because of the ROTY nom and because it was a huge hit. I’d love if D’Angelo could’ve pulled an upset though. And Toni would be a huge threat as well.

    2002:

    Alicia Keys, “Fallin'”

    2003:

Usher, “U Don’t Have to Call”

    2004:

    OutKast, “Hey Ya!”

    2005:

    2006:

    2007:

    2008:

    Alicia Keys, “No One”

    2009:

    Ne-Yo for “Miss Independent”

    2010:

Beyoncé Knowles, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”

    2011:

    Cee Lo Green, “Fuck You”

    2005: If I Ain’t Got You
    2006: We Belong Together
2007: Be Without You (this would have been a landslide win; Mary completely dominated that year)

    2011: Fuck You
