I’ve heard only the Miguel and The Weeknd albums, and Miguel’s album is by far better The Weeknd’s album. But Abel should easily win here thanks to his huge success this year.

I have to listen to The Internet, Kehlani and Lianne La Havas. Thank God for Spotify!

These nominees suck.  We can immediately rule out The Internet, Kehlani and Lianne La Havas.  Miguel released the best album of the five nominees.  However, The Weeknd is an AOTY nominee and had a great year.  Voters won’t be able to ignore that combo.

    SHOULD WIN: Miguel, Wildheart
WILL WIN: The Weeknd, Beauty Behind the Madness

The Internet’s Ego Death is personally one of my favorite albums of 2015 and its spot is rightfully earned. It’s an amazing album.

Lianna La Havas also produced a great album with Blood. It’s not my favorite but there are definitely a magic there for those who like her music and there are quite a few gems on the album. Not to mention her vocals are amazing.

Miguel’s album was just okay to me. It seemed to tap more so into his experimental phase. There were a few gems but overall, I don’t see myself revisiting the album in the future. I will say hearing the songs live in concert  >>>>>> listening to the songs, so that’s something.

I didn’t enjoy Kehlani’s mixtape outside of the title track which is amazing. It has that ‘chill’ R&B sound much like Jhene Aiko.

I very much enjoyed The Weeknd’s album when it first came out but I’ve realized that after a while, his voice tends to annoy me, so that affects listenability for me.

I personally would be over the moon if Ego Death won but know it will probably go to BBTM, which I’m not to mad about. Overall this is a solid group of nominees, with no fillers except for maybe Kehlani’s mixtape. But then again she’s a newbie and she it talented so while I don’t personally enjoy her music, it’s cool to see her getting some recognition.
