LMAO at Azlealia Banks’ comment on these awards and Minaj.    She’s a hot mess.

Well. Nicki deserves the win this year. The Pinkprint was everything to me. She left out those stupid gimmicks.

I wouldn’t necessarily say Nicki left out any gimmicks. The “Anaconda” video and single cover were pretty tacky. Even though I find the song to be a guilty pleasure. I agree that she stripped herself of the clown make up, bad wigs, and left over Lady Gaga costumes to make a pretty decent album.

Azealia Banks is a mess but I found her shade @Nicki to be hilarious.  The Female Hip-Hop category is the strongest its been in years. Even though Nicki will win it’s interesting to see social media discussing this line up in particular. Who knew Trina had so many fans?

Nicki deserves Her award this year (which is still debatable ) but iggy should have won last year. I would also watch out for Déj Loaf. Her 3 nods are telling .

Nicki is winning by a landslide. BET threw in the other nominees to keep the conversation going *in my Janet Jackson voice*.

I think she could potentially win 3 (Female Hip-Hop, VOTY, and Viewer’s Choice). We’ll see.

Do you think Dej Loaf & Iggy were thrown in there to keep the convo going or were they actually deserving of their nominations ?

They were deserving. Confused as to why Trina is nominated when she hasn’t been relevant in years. Khia has been producing steady work and was more deserving of a nomination.

They definitely deserved their nod. I agree about Khia! But who cares about the BET awards when she may be nominated for her first Goldderby decade award next week ! We’ll see …..

Viewers Choice award usually goes to the most ratchet songs.
NICKI MINAJ F/ DRAKE, LIL WAYNE & CHRIS BROWN – ONLY
    or
RAE SREMMURD F/ NICKI MINAJ & YOUNG THUG – THROW SUM MO
    Will win.

Honey, I’d rather Nicki Minaj win over Iggy Azalea.  I LIVE for Trina!

I miss the days when legends Missy Elliot and Lil’ Kim were nominated for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.

It will be interesting to see if Iggy Azalea ever wins Female Hip-Hop. Her backlash is like a tidal effect.
