It’s time to do final winners predictions. Predict as many categories as you like, but please cover the GENERAL FIELD at least. I’ll do tallies for those four categories, which should be easier to handle since there are less contenders to choose from now.

I’ll also bump up the nominees predictions thread to see how the consensus tallies turned out. Counting will continue until the pre-telecast announces the vast majority of the winners on Sunday, February 10, 2013.

Please let me know if I’ve made any errors to your tallies. I’d appreciate it if vote changes were kept to a minimum, but if you have to make changes, alert me of your edits either through this thread or PM.

Can anyone who knows anything about the Blues category tell me if my beloved Joan Osbourne will finally win her long awaited Grammy?  She was snubbed for asking the question that was on everyones mind, “What if God was One of Us?”  Grammy better give her the win or else montana82 will be singin the blues!

I’m with you montana. Homegirl better win!

Anyway, i’m just wondering why are so many people are predicting Babel? Have you guys heard it? It is an abysmal  album at best.

ETA: Never mind. No one is predicting it. LOL!

I couldn’t agree with you more. I bought Babel a while back having never listened to it, based solely on the rave reviews that it has recieved thus far and BOY was I disappointed. I just couldn’t get through it, no matter how hard I tried. Every single song sounded exactly the same (Aside from Babel and I Will Wait, which are absolutely superb). I guess the best way to describe the product as a whole is very… Vanilla. Definitely not worthy, in my opinion, of this prestigious Grammy.
