Ok…I am totally stealing this topic idea from TylerTheAwesomeGuy’s post in the Oscar forum.

What are some great songs that appear on what you would otherwise consider terrible albums?

    I feel so honored. 🙂

“Unconditionally” by Katy Perry on her album PRISM.

Keeping with the Katy Perry theme, “Walking On Air” from Prism is a fantastic pop song on an otherwise “meh” album.

“Hot Tonight” and the masterpiece “Argentina I, II, and III” from Tokyo Police Club’s latest, disappointing album Forcefield

“Settle Down” by No Doubt, off of 2012’s shockingly terrible comeback album Push & Shove

“Work Bitch” by Britney Spears…never fails to get me going.

“Teenage Dream” is a great pop track. No question. I’ll also include “The Cave” from Mumford & Sons’ Sigh No More, and “Celestia” from Crystal Castles II.

I (still) don’t get Lady Gaga as an artist, but The Edge of Glory from Born This Way is a damn good song.
