There are too many award shows for music.

And this is scheduled very close to the Billboard Awards, so it will be interesting to see who performs where.

When will they name the 5 “Finalist”. After the vote or before? I agree it seems like they just continue to make stupid award shows. We really need another Grammy like awards. Much like the Golden Globes or BAFTAs.

The BRITs are the closing thing to that.

Ugh another music award show? We already have GRAMMYs, AMAs, VMAs, BET, Soul Train, Billboard, etc.

The Brits are for English artists only. At least the Baftas have international winners. I mean we have what seems like 20 fan voted awards. I guess the closest thing would be the CMAs and their just country but at least anyone can win.

JT is in the lead in all the categories he is nominated for. He’ll win the most even though he won’t show up due to his concert tour.

The BRITS has three categories for international artists but what it means is that these awards are not fan-voted as the vast majority of them.

On the other hand I wish we could have a Critic’s Choice Award for Music though

Actually, it’s a different fan-vote award show. I mean, no One Direction, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift or Katy Perry in many categories. We’ll see different winners. Artist of the Year may go to Rihanna.

JT will sweep, because he’s JT. Macklemore and Rihanna will win some and that is it.
